This is Our Story…

 It all started with a love for the outdoors and a desire to escape the hustle of everyday life. Living in British Columbia, surrounded by rugged mountains, endless forests, and serene coastlines, I couldn’t resist the call of nature. But it wasn’t until Benny, my Bernese Mountain Dog, entered my life that those adventures became something truly special. From the moment he bounded into my world, Benny’s energy, loyalty, and joy for exploring made him the perfect trail companion. Together, we started venturing deeper into the wilderness, and it wasn’t long before we found our rhythm—one paw and foot in front of the other, exploring the world side by side.

What began as a simple love for adventure soon grew into something bigger. Along the way, I realized that sharing our journey could help others—whether it was showing how to keep your dog safe on the trail, or simply inspiring people to get outside and explore with their dogs. Benny and I created Her Adventure Paws as a way to share not just our story, but also our passion for the outdoors, wellness, and the powerful bond between humans and their dogs. We hope that through our experiences, we can inspire others to hit the trail, one paw at a time.

Benny and I first found ourselves drawn to content creation during our many outdoor adventures. As a travel nurse living in the beautiful landscapes of British Columbia, hiking and camping became my escape on days off. With Benny by my side, these trips became even more special. He’s always been my loyal trail companion, and his goofy personality and quirks quickly started to capture attention when I shared moments from our hikes on social media. I soon realized that people were not only interested in the stunning scenery but also in our dynamic as a human-dog adventure duo.

Content creation began as a way to document our adventures, but it quickly evolved into something deeper. I wanted to inspire others to explore the outdoors with their dogs, sharing our experiences, tips, and everything we’ve learned about keeping our adventures fun, safe, and fulfilling. Benny’s unique traits—like pawing at me for attention, cuddling up after a long day, and always rocking his signature bandana—gave me endless content to work with. What started as casual posts became a platform to share our love for hiking, camping, and the outdoors, encouraging and helping others to bring their dogs along for the ride.
